Gethsemane Cathedral is the chartered organization for Boy Scout Troop 225, which meets most Sundays at 7 p.m. at the church. Troop 225 participates in many activities throughout the year. For example, the boys learn first aid, outdoor skills, leadership skills, attend a Redhawks game together, and provide service to the community.

Troop 225 also goes on many campouts at different locations throughout the year, including Camp Wilderness near Park Rapids, Minnesota.  Parental involvement is strong in the Troop.

At Gethsemane we observe Scout Sunday in February.
