In September of 2002, the New Baby Ministry was formed in order to help the parents of new babies settle back into their lives after getting home from the hospital.  This ministry consists of bringing meals to the homes of new babies in the Gethsemane Cathedral family.  A cross-stitched baby pillow with the baby’s name and birth date is also brought to the parents to welcome the new members of their family.
